Los Angeles native-Las Vegas transplant-San Diego, CA retransplant SLik d is well known for his ability to illustrate the atmosphere of specific moments in time. His new mixtape, SunShine can be considered as a sequel to one of his first projects Summer Vibes. Just like the aforementioned title, SLik showcases a lyrical awareness of the feelings felt during a summer in the west coast. The only difference between the two projects is that the kid implements a balance between traditional flows & his honed melodic flow that he experimented with heavily on his previous mixtape, Midnight Vibes.
